Opinion Article

The title of the article i chose to write on is "Luv 2 txt", It was written by Cristina C. I found this article at http://www.teenink.com/Opinion/article/78701/Luv-2-Txt/. The first Paragraph of this article doesn't actually come out and say what the main idea is but you get a good feel that it is about texting and texting grammar.
The main point of this is that texting is slowly ruining the grammer of everyone who texts. There are 6 paragraphs in this piece and all of them i find to make the main idea of texting is ruining are grmmar more clear.
The writer in this uses examples of people typing "u" instead of "you" in alot of writing pieces for school because they are so used to texting it. this all can't be blamed on texting though IMing does about the same thing just as bad.
If she was trying to strengthen up her piece she probably could have used more examples of what ruins peoples grammer like using "@" for "at".
I found the conclusion to be very effective in this piece its worded very strongly. i really liked this article because of how much it actually applys to me and how true it actually is since there has been many times that i have caught myself putting "u" instead of "you"

How to painlessly put in contacts.

For you people who are just starting with contacts, here are a few simple steps you can use to keep it as painless and with the most comfort as possible. Also by following these steps it will ensure no infections of the eye.

1. To begin you should always wash your hands. If you don’t wash your hands you could get something off your hands on the contact which can cause pain. Also if your hands are not clean they could get your eyes infected. (Be sure to use soap and water).
2. After washing your hands, take out one of the contacts and make sure it is completely round on the outside with no ridges. If it looks kind of like a helmet with a ridge about halfway to the middle then it is inside out and you should flip it. After you have it flipped right, set it in your palm and put a bit of contact solution on it. Then take one of the fingers on your other hand and gently scrub both sides of the contact to clean it
3. Once your contact is cleaned take it out of your palm and place it on the finger you’re going to put it in with. Once you have the contact on your finger, spread your eye lids open as wide as you can without being uncomfortable. Then gently place the contact gently on to your eye.
4. Repeat step 2 and 3 for your other contact and you’re done. J

And those are the 4 steps you’re going to need to do to successfully put in your contacts correctly.

My little stroll =D

One day I was playing runescape when I suddenly felt the urge to go for a travel. So I grabbed a bottle of juice and some crackers and began my long hard journey around the block.
As I stepped off my front porch I was surprised to see an exquisite red wagon shining in front of me. I decided to sit in this and drive to Milwaukee where Nathaniel and me would work and eventual take over. After I realized my little red speed machine wasn’t exactly moving, I hopped off and continued my little adventure.
After a bit hopping around my trek brought me too a cone house. The door on it was opened so I seen no reason not to enter. I stepped in to find a man smoking a pipe and rocking out to some Metallica. I said hey to the man, he looked at me wide eyed and said “Hey dude.” After we had about a 15-minute conversation on the many colors of his chameleon I told him I had to go and that I would be sure to come and visit another time.
As I kept walking I noticed a man asleep in his car. I also noticed that there was something odd about the whole thing seeing as there was a man asleep in a turned on car so I decided to investigate. I went over and nudged the mans arm attempting to wake him up, after I realized this wasn’t working I gave him a bite. But still there was no movement. I got up on his and started jumping. I then concluded that the man must have been up all night and was now in a coma like sleep. I kept walking a bit then realized for some reason there was a large tube hooked from his tail pipe into his window, who knows what that was for.
As I kept on walking I found a man on a lawn chair. He was laying there and I did a front flip up over the chair. The man looks at me and says “a limber one aren’t you” I said “I suppose so” then the man asked me to go down to his cellar and get myself a Popsicle. Popsicles are of course my kryptonite so I went down, only to hear the door lock behind me. I figured it must have fell shut, so I grabbed my Popsicle, hopped out the window and continued my stroll.
I continued along when I found an amazing tree. My natural instincts were of course to climb it. So I made my way up the tree and found a squirrel I chased it in and out of holes in the tree until I lost itL. I was so disappointed that I did a front flip out of the tree cried and ran away.
I hopped my way around some other obstacles and here in am safe and sound. I might go back and get another popsicle from that man though J.
