How to painlessly put in contacts.
For you people who are just starting with contacts, here are a few simple steps you can use to keep it as painless and with the most comfort as possible. Also by following these steps it will ensure no infections of the eye.
1. To begin you should always wash your hands. If you don’t wash your hands you could get something off your hands on the contact which can cause pain. Also if your hands are not clean they could get your eyes infected. (Be sure to use soap and water).
2. After washing your hands, take out one of the contacts and make sure it is completely round on the outside with no ridges. If it looks kind of like a helmet with a ridge about halfway to the middle then it is inside out and you should flip it. After you have it flipped right, set it in your palm and put a bit of contact solution on it. Then take one of the fingers on your other hand and gently scrub both sides of the contact to clean it
3. Once your contact is cleaned take it out of your palm and place it on the finger you’re going to put it in with. Once you have the contact on your finger, spread your eye lids open as wide as you can without being uncomfortable. Then gently place the contact gently on to your eye.
4. Repeat step 2 and 3 for your other contact and you’re done. J
And those are the 4 steps you’re going to need to do to successfully put in your contacts correctly.
